Rotary printing

Technology: The templates used in this method are thin-sided metal tubes. The printing parts of the surface are perforated and the others - impermeable for printing paint. This method allows to reach very high speed of printing. The technology of rotary printing allows also to obtain plastic prints with vivid colours, with almost as good quality as in case of plane printing. Printing paint is dosed constantly into particular tubes and pressed onto the fabric, fixed to the conveyor belt with so called squeegees, pressed against the inside of rotating temples.
In case of this method of printing the whole process is constant, and the printing is made in "wet on wet" system. Because of relatively slight pressure, the danger of pressing paints through the printed fabric and "displacing" and smudging of paints is minimal. The main advantage of this method is high speed of printing ( approx. 5000 running meters per shift), but also the possibility of using up to 12 colours.
The technological bound of this method are minimal patterns (usually 64 or 83 cm), which are possible to extend by changing the diameter of the tubes and the number of colours.

Use: Rotary printing is used in production of big stocks. It guarantees quick realization and relatively low costs. Because of small printing, the use of this technology makes sense with small products or repeated patterns (bed-clothes, bandanas, scarves, etc.)

Minimal production: The minimal quantity of fabric for printing - 1000 running meters.
